AI agent for law firms

A case's first contact comes in over WhatsApp, often at night and almost always from someone who is upset. If nobody answers within the first hour, they message the next firm.

01

Why it breaks down today

The real problem, not the generic one.

In law, the problem isn't a lack of messages: it's that most of them aren't cases. A lawyer who handles their own WhatsApp loses hours explaining the same thing to people who were never going to hire them, and gets to the real cases late. The agent does the first screening and hands the lawyer only what has already been classified.

02

What you get asked every day

The same five questions, answered instantly.

  • Do you handle cases like this?
  • How much do you charge to take my case?
  • This happened to me. Do I have a case?
  • Am I still in time, or has the deadline passed?
  • Can I talk to a lawyer today?
03

How it qualifies leads

So your team only talks to people worth the time.

  • Practice area and whether the firm handles it
  • City and territorial jurisdiction
  • Procedural stage: whether there's a lawsuit, a notice served or deadlines running
  • Real urgency versus an exploratory inquiry
04

What it is not allowed to do

The part nobody shows in a demo.

  • Discuss fees, rates or payment terms.
  • Give a legal opinion, comment on the merits of the case or estimate the odds.
  • Promise an outcome, a ruling date or a compensation amount.
  • Say it is "assigning you a lawyer". The firm makes that assignment, not the agent.
05

What changes in day-to-day operations

No made-up numbers.

The lawyer stops reading conversations from scratch. They open the CRM and find the case already classified, with the city, the stage and what the person described in their own words. The first call starts where the third one used to.

06

What gets defined before it goes live

What is specific to this industry.

In the diagnostic we review the practice areas the firm actually handles, the ones it turns down and how it words those refusals, because saying no is part of client service too. We define the classification tree and the escalation list by procedural urgency.

The four setup phases and timelines are on the AI agency page; the method applied to your whole sales function is in our method.

07

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before hiring us.

Does the agent give legal advice?

No, and that is a hard rule written down before anything goes live. The agent gathers the facts, identifies the practice area and books the appointment. It gives no legal opinion, does not comment on the merits and does not estimate outcomes. Anything that comes close to advice is escalated to a lawyer.

What happens to sensitive case information?

The agent runs on the firm's own CRM, not on a third-party platform. The conversation stays where the rest of the client's information already lives, under the data processing policies the firm has already set under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012.

Can it handle several practice areas at once?

Yes. It gets a tree of practice areas —criminal, employment, family, civil— each with its own questions, and it routes the case to the right lawyer. Areas the firm doesn't handle get a courteous reply and are closed out.

What if the person writes in upset or confused?

That is the norm, not the exception. The agent is trained to collect the facts without pressing and to escalate to a person when it detects real distress. It doesn't keep pushing to fill in fields while someone is in crisis.

The next step

One hour, your numbers and an honest answer.

By the end of the diagnostic we know whether an AI agent is what your operation needs right now, or whether something else has to be sorted out first. If it's the latter, we'll tell you.
